A home-visiting service providing the opportunity for a tea and a natter
We have a wide range of different activities to help older people in out community get the most out of life and avoid becoming isolated. These include the Lunch Club, social events, exercise for those with limited capabilities, transport by the minibus and trishaw.

Paul Seekings, Older People’s worker
Paul provides support and service signposting for older people in the community. He also helps with transport for the Monday classes, and the arranging of the minibus rota.

Helen Blake, Holiday at Home & Home Visiting Coordinator
Helen handles enquiries for the Lunch Club. She also organises regular Holiday at Home events for those in the community less able to leave home and take trips independently.

Jo aims to provide an additional advisory and in person role to signpost and work alongside existing services to ensure individuals and families are listened to, and wishes carried out where possible.

Our Specialist Exercise Activities help adjust to life and boost positivity for those recovering from a stroke or living with a long term condition.
The Histon and Impington Carer cafe is an opportunity for that space, and a time to connect with other unpaid carers looking after adults.
Come to learn a new skill, practice an old skill, & find community with other local crafters. While we are caller Knit and Natter other crafts are welcome.
Enjoy social fitness with fun chair-based gentle exercises through a mixture of seated and standing positions … plus a cup of tea or coffee to finish!
A place for older people to have a hot meal and enjoy all types of games, good friends, and tea and coffee.
‘Holiday at Home’ is a fun and friendly initiative providing activities and outings for older residents in Histon and Impington.
A club of activity, enjoyment & friendship for all ages, including board and card games, puzzles, indoor games and trishaw rides (weather permitting).
A group sharing memories of what life used to be like in former years.
The HI Friends trishaw helps people of all ages who have limited mobility to get outside and to experience the fresh air and interaction with others.
