As part of the Histon and Impington Dementia Week, the Mini Donks charity brought their Miniature Donkeys for Wellbeing to visit the Histon and Impington Day Centre.
During the day, we had young mums with children and children from the Early Years Centre come to visit the miniature donkeys, and the two Memory Support Groups combined came along for tea and donkey admiring in Kay Hitch Way. Another exciting point was students from IVC joining in too, and visiting residents from Bramley Court Care Home and Etheldred House all coming together to enjoy Mini Donks’ visit. It was a wonderful inter-generational event: we were delighted to see everyone enjoying themselves, and thank Mini Donks for a fantastic afternoon.
