2022 Christmas Weekend

The Christmas Weekend was a great success. A huge effort was made again by everyone who contributed to the Christmas Tree Festival. The creativity and imagination was brilliant and 100s of people attended to look at the display and enjoy refreshments at the Methodist Church.

Many people braved the cold on Sunday to enjoy the festivities on the Green. This included the Santa Dash with some fabulous festive outfits and performances from the Moses Carter band, Salvation Army and school choirs.

Farther Christmas made an entrance on the village trishaw, escorted by his elves. He then spent a couple of hours greeting children in Santas grotto. There were circus skills and a fire eater to add to the entertainment.

The grand finale was lantern display. A lovely weekend to get everyone in the festive spirit.
